Vianney conducts recruitment and assessment projects for top management positions with a focus on finance and industry.

Since late 2018, Vianney has been specifically working on numerous Asia-Europe projects and accelerating Eric Salmon & Partners’ operations in China, working from the firm’s Shanghai and Paris offices.

Prior to joining Eric Salmon & Partners in 2015, he worked for five years as Director Corporate Finance (M&A) for investment bank BNP Paribas.

Vianney also worked for the French Government: for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for the office of the Prime Minister and in his last position for the Ministry of Defense as Adviser to the Minister in charge of international industrial affairs. Vianney started his career in 1996 as a Corporate Banker for Société Générale in London, UK.

Vianney is a graduate from Harvard University (Kennedy School of Government), ESSEC Business School and Sciences Po (Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris). In 2016, he was selected to attend the 69th Session Nationale of IHEDN, the Institute placed under the authority of the French Prime Minister. He is a Board member of ACTED, one of Europe’s largest humanitarian NGOs, and an active member of the Harvard French Scholarship Fund.
