Thomas is Managing Partner and Founder Member Amrop Hofer Tana.
He has decades of extensive professional experience in retained executive search and leadership consulting at a board and senior management level. He is highly accomplished in all aspects of executive search, board consulting, succession planning and strategic executive talent advisory and brings a high-level insider perspective to his work. Thomas has a reputation to partner with clients with integrity, agility, discretion and dedication. He maintains lifelong relationships with senior management executives and industry insiders globally.
Thomas is a member of the Asia Pacific & Middle East Council of AESC, the Global Association of Executive Search Consultants, and serves on the regional Membership & Development Committee.
He brings along extensive leadership and management experience as former Commanding Officer of a regiment, with four battalions and 2500 military personnel.
Mr. Hofer maintains a lifelong interest in sports and earlier voluntarily served as Team Manager of the Swiss National Elite Rowing Team, participating in World Cup and World Championships during two Olympic Cycles, 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing.
He advised on the search for critical leadership appointments and continues to collaborate with the international sports sector on talent requirements. Thomas served as Master of a Zurich Guild for six years. He was a member of The Gold & Silver Wyre Drawer Livery of London. He is a Freeman of the City of London.
