Elizabeth White, With more than 25 years of experience in executive search, Liz has recruited executives across most functional areas to include at the CEO and Board level.  Much of her time has been spent working with companies in the life sciences (CROs, pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical products, multi-site healthcare, and disposables), professional services (accounting, consulting, legal, private equity) and software industries.  Her assignments have also included recruiting general partners for some of the nation’s most highly regarded venture capital firms.

Liz has spent a total of 20 years with large, global firms (Heidrick & Struggles, Spencer Stuart, and Ray & Berndtson) and the remainder of her search career with smaller, highly regarded boutique firms such as Ken Clark International, known globally for its expertise in the Life Sciences sector, where she led the firm’s executive search efforts in the southeastern US. 

Over the years, she has been recognized for her work in Board diversity, for outstanding contribution to quality service, and developing standards for client reporting for inclusion in Heidrick & Struggles “Best Practice Guide”, a manual used for new partner training.  While with Heidrick & Struggles, she was selected by Deloitte & Touche’s partnership as one of five Atlanta area women executives to mentor new female hires into the firm’s audit and tax practices.

Before entering the executive search profession, Liz was with the Management Consulting Services division of Ernst & Whinney, LLP where she advanced on a fast track through two practices areas, Technology Management Consulting and Financial Institutions Systems Consulting.  Projects led included large scale custom software development and business process improvement engagements.

Liz earned both an M.B.A. in Management Information Systems (summa cum laude) and B.B.A. in Marketing (magna cum laude) from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.  She was named “Marketing Student of the Year” in 1980 by the Atlanta Chapter of the American Marketing Association and while in graduate school was an intern with the Small Business Administration where she conducted market research for entrepreneurs interested in exporting their various products to Latin America.

Liz has published several articles during her career on topics to include “Achieving Board Room Diversity” and “Basic Skills Back in Demand”, the changing role of corporate CFOs.
