Viraj Narayanan is a principal Heidrick & Struggles’ Philadelphia office and a member of the Leadership Consulting Practice. He was previously a principal at Decision Strategies International, a global strategy and leadership development advisory firm acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 2016, and was responsible for leading a range of strategy engagements.
With deep analytical and empirical skills, Viraj manages the delivery of client projects across many industries, including the planning, analysis, execution, and closing of engagements. He focuses on working with healthcare organizations on strategic thinking, strategic planning, and decision making and building strategic leadership capacity to plan for a new direction.
Viraj’s previous professional experience includes managing operations and data support for a real estate company and interning in the research department of a bio-tech firm.
He has worked on project research in the Center for Behavioral Decision Research, Emotion and Decision Making Laboratory, the Institute for Cognitive Science Research at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Operations, Processes, and Information Management department at the Wharton School. Viraj holds a bachelor of science degree in decision science from the Carnegie Mellon University.
