Scott Thompson is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of the Financial Services Practice. He works with a wide variety of clients, particularly in the recruitment of senior technology and operations executives for banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and insurance companies. Additionally, Scott has prior experience recruiting financial officers.

Recent assignments range from recruiting chief operations officers and chief information officers to heads of security, digital, development, engineering, infrastructure and architecture. While his focus has been on financial services, Scott has a track record of recruiting top technology talent across all industries.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Scott was with Bloomberg L.P. in the sales and analytics department responsible for sales to asset managers, insurance companies, endowments and universities.Education:

Scott earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Saint Joseph’s University.
