Dr. Ronald Chod is a Managing Director in the Healthcare Services practice of The Diversified Search Group. He joined the firm in 2019, following The Diversified Search Group’s acquisition of Grant Cooper.

Dr. Chod brings more than 25 years of experience in clinical practice, academic leadership, and integrated delivery system administration to Diversified Search. He accepted his first leadership role as Vice President for Clinical Affairs at BJC Healthcare in St. Louis in 1994, then subsequently served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Clinical Affairs at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, with administrative appointment as Executive Director, Faculty Practice Plan, and academic appointment as Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Chod’s executive search practice is national in scope and is highly focused on academic physician leaders, including deans, department chairs, and division heads, and on academic hospital and integrated delivery system leaders, including CMOs, CMIOs, CEOs, as well as group practice leaders. His firsthand knowledge of key business and leadership issues facing healthcare institutions, along with his access to academic and hospital leaders throughout the United States, provides a strong platform for effectiveness in filling key leadership searches.

Dr. Chod has served as an author and invited lecturer on a wide variety of academic and integrated delivery system business development topics, including physician integration, physician-hospital alignment strategies and joint ventures, and clinical quality improvement.
