Mark H Livingston is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Houston office where he leads the global Chemicals Practice and is a member of the Oil & Gas, Food & Agribusiness, Alternative & Renewable Energy practices. His client work focuses on CEO and other C-suite and board recruitment across oil and gas, chemicals, alternative and renewable energy, as well as EPC and industrial equipment and service companies serving these sectors.
Prior to joining Heidrick and Struggles, Mark spent almost 14 years working in a variety of finance and purchasing roles. Most recently, he was the regional finance manager, Americas manufacturing responsible for the financial functions of nine U.S. and Latin American refineries for Royal Dutch Shell PLC. Mark began his career working for PPG Industries, a leading chemical and coatings manufacturer.
Marks serves on the South Central Board of Trustees of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, for which he chairs the nominations committee and is vice-chairman of the governance committee.Education:
Mark earned a master of international business studies in finance from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He earned bachelor of arts degrees in history and international relations from the University of Maine. He is fluent in German and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.
