Manuel Gomez is a partner at Heidrick & Struggles’ Mexico City office and a member of the Financial Services Practice. Gomez brings more than 20 years of international banking experience to the firm specializing in senior level financial services placements and leadership consulting assignments.
Since joining the firm in 2014, Gomez has been a critical piece in building the firm’s relationship with many of the world’s leading global financial institutions. He focuses the majority of his efforts within the investment and corporate banking sector, traditional and alternative asset management and wealth management. In addition to working with large financial institutions, Gomez has extensive experience within the Latin America banking sector.
Gomez joined Heidrick & Struggles from RBS Mexico, where he was the CEO and head of Client Coverage. Prior to taking the top country role, he spent more than 12 years with RBS in a variety of roles with increased responsibilities. His primary function was in regards to client coverage and client planning for the firm. Prior to RBS he spent eight years at JPMorgan Chase & Co. where he was the vice president of Investment Banking for Mexico.Education:
Gomez has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Instituto Tecnologio Automomo de Mexico (“ITAM”) and a master’s in business administration from Tulane University.
