Jim´s area of expertise is in Leadership Assessment, Culture Shaping, Team Effectiveness.

Jim Hart is a senior advisor to Heidrick & Struggles’ executive leadership team. He previously served as president and CEO of culture-shaping firm Senn Delaney, a Heidrick & Struggles company, and was a member of the Executive Committee.

Jim led the growth of the world’s first dedicated culture-shaping firm into a vital part of the portfolio of transformative leadership and talent services Heidrick & Struggles brings to clients.

During his long tenure at Senn Delaney, he led culture-shaping engagements around the world in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, aerospace, energy, retailing, financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and computers.

Prior to joining Senn Delaney, Jim served as president of Western National Group, growing it to become California’s largest multi-family real estate development and management firm. His leadership skills and management experience directed the company through operational and organizational changes resulting in a 35-percent growth in revenues and profits.

He joined Western National after selling the leading business software publishing firm he founded in 1980. He had led its growth for 10 years, twice earning positions on Inc. Magazine’s 500 list of the Fastest Growing Companies. Under his direction, his software firm automated more than 100,000 medium-sized businesses and professional practices.

Jim is co-author of the Senn Delaney book, Winning Teams, Winning Cultures, and has written numerous articles on best practices in organizational culture shaping and creating thriving, high-performance cultures.

Jim is a former chapter chairman in the Young President’s Organization and the World President’s Organization and serves as an international board member of WPO.Education:

Jim received a bachelor of arts in psychology and a master of business administration from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
