Gustavo is an executive search consultant that focuses on helping CEOs and other executive leaders across professional services organizations.
Gustavo Alba is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of the Global Technology & Services Practice. He has extensive experience advising clients on executive recruiting needs and talent acquisition strategies focused on management consulting, technology services, and business advisory services. In addition, Gustavo has led searches and advised private equity, technology companies, and Fortune 500 corporations on sourcing and attracting consulting, strategy, and technology talent.
Prior to Heidrick & Struggles, Gustavo served as managing partner of an executive search and leadership firm’s New York office, where he focused on helping CEOs and other executive leaders across professional services organizations.
Gustavo was also previously the head of global recruiting at Booz & Company (now PwC), reporting to the CHRO, where he strategically positioned the firm’s recruiting platform to meet and exceed overall business objectives. He was responsible for executive recruitment and campus hiring while also being on point for executive integration.
Previously, Gustavo founded International Recruiting Group and worked as a search consultant at another global staffing and recruitment firm. Education:
Gustavo completed the High Impact Leadership Program at Columbia Business School and holds a bachelor of arts in marketing from Florida International University.
