George F Norton III is partner-in-charge of the Sales Officers Practice of Heidrick & Struggles, focusing his practice on senior-level leadership and general management assignments with executives who have come up through the ranks of the sales function.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, George held sales and marketing leadership positions with IBM, Wang Laboratories, and MCI. He brings knowledge of technology convergence from his telecommunications and networking experience at MCI combined with office automation and data processing expertise from Wang Laboratories and IBM.
George F Norton has been an active member of the business and civic community through such organizations as the Business & Technology Alliance, the Wharton Club, a past board member of Medical Review Systems, and previously a director for the Florida Venture Forum. George currently serves as an advising member of Revenue 50.Education:
