Chad Carr is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Cost Mesa office and a member of the Heidrick Consulting Culture Shaping Practice. He has decades of experience as a strategic advisor and senior-level talent management professional, with an intense focus on building employee capabilities to drive business results.
Previously, Chad was a managing director at a boutique human capital consulting firm serving Fortune 500 and global professional services firms. He provided strategic consulting services to Fortune 500 clients, including major airlines, mining, high technology, professional services, hospitality, and data analytics companies.
Prior to that, Chad was chief learning design officer for the audit and advisory services of Deloitte. Chad has experience in the retail industry, serving as division vice president of operations, education and incentives at Lord & Taylor, and held a similar position at Limited Brands Express Division. He also served as manager of human resources and curriculum development at Sears, Roebuck & Co.Education:
Chad has an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, with a major in leadership in organizations, and a doctorate degree in instructional systems from Penn State University. He also has a master’s degree in secondary education and a bachelor of arts degree in biology, both from West Virginia University.
