Anna is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York Office and part of the global Financial Services Practice, specializing in the functional areas of audit, regulatory compliance, fraud, sanctions, AML, KYC and risk. She also contributes to assignments within the firm’s CEO & Board Practice. Throughout her tenure with the firm she has helped execute the placement of chief risk and credit officers, heads of operational risk, leaders in fraud, anti-bribery and corruption, chief auditors, and chief compliance officers across a spectrum of financial services platforms.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Anna held various roles within financial services. She began her career at GE Capital and was hired into the firm’s Financial Management Program (FMP), an intensive two-year entry-level program across four rotational assignments. While in the program, she held roles in compliance, risk, and financial planning and analysis. After completing the program, Anna joined the risk and originations team of GE Capital’s Commercial Real Estate Lending group. In addition to her work at GE, Anna served as an associate director in the investment banking division of UBS and as real estate business development and portfolio manager for Related’s subsidiary company, Equinox.Education:
Anna earned her master’s degree in business administration from Columbia University and her bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.
